I mean specifications that separate "good enough" with something of truly stellar performance. Does the bottle mention an Eaton spec? Remember GL5 is the starting point, as in the minimum current spec for gear lube certification in North America. We'll have more to say on "competing" gear lube products as more and more so called synthetics sound good but examination of the specs shows many don't go beyond "good enough"! Seems the current crop of so called "synthetic" ATF falls into the same category of underwhelming specification capabilities as well, so check around and compare. |
