In Durango, Colo., school district 9-R has Solargizer installed on its large school bus fleet. Like other schools, these buses sit unused during the summer so most of them had to be jump started at the beginning of the school year.
Last spring, shop coordinator Dave Jackson and his crew charged and conditioned each battery with the Pulse Charger, then installed a Solargizer. As a result, this past fall they only had to jump start one bus.
"We are very pleased with the savings in battery costs," states Sharon Miedki, Director of Transportation for the Durango School District, "as well as the dramatic reduction in battery-related downtime and man-hours we've experienced since we started using Solargizer."
Stacey Mousner with Cummins Rocky Mountain, the PulseTech Distributor that sold Solargizer to Durango, says the school district has had incredible success with the product. “The use of all these products has reduced their battery problems to almost nothing."
