GHB, GLA and GLB contain the great synthetic base oil, lithium complex thickener, extreme pressure agents and oxidation- and rust-inhibitor additive systems found in all AMSOIL synthetic lithium-complex greases. GHB is also moly-fortified. What’s different about the new greases? Less thickener gives them lower consistency grades for greater pumpability and cold temperature mobility. Soft greases such as these are preferred for gearbox applications (where recommended by equipment manufacturer) and for automated pumping equipment. Soft greases also have good low temperature torque values, which make them excellent for cold temperature applications.
Yet, because these are synthetic lithium complex greases, they are excellent for use in high temperature applications. Lithium complex thickeners help greases maintain their protective consistency in high temperatures while synthetic base oils and anti-oxidants allow greases to resist oxidation in high temperature operations. As extreme-pressure fortified greases, GHB, GLA and GLB offer excellent protection in high load applications. As a moly-fortified grease, GHB offers extra protection in extreme pressure operations. GHB and GLB are available in cases of 40, 14-oz. cartridges, 35 lb. pails, 120 lb. lugs and 400 lb. kegs. GLA is available in 35 lb. pails, 120 lb. lugs and 400 lb. kegs.
