"Already using a synthetic chaincase oil, the "normal" metal fuzz build-up on the chaincases' magnetic plug was now almost totally gone"

| Gary has just completed his first season of drag racing. As a grandfather, Gary has experienced life for a while. Even with lots of life experiences to compare to, drag racing his snowmobile ranks very high on the FUN list!! |
| When approached about the benefits of Amsoil Series 2000 2-Stroke racing oil, Gary listened with interest. The laboratory comparisons convinced Gary that this oil was a product that he would benefit from. Other than the NHRA legal drag slick track and wheel equipped stubby ski's, the Polaris is stock, so the quest to go faster, (this is normal for any drag racer) would be through tuning alone. Amsoil's Series 2000 2-Stroke oil would prove to be a major benefit. |
 |
After racing at several races at different tracks the biggest obstacle for the Polaris to overcome was consistency. Picking a representative ET to dial in for the bracket elimination racing was difficult, the sled was plain not consistent. Elapsed times ranged from 12.75 to 12.15 seconds even though the 102.75 mph and 1.680 second 60' times were relatively consistent. |
| Once the Amsoil oil was introduced consistency started to happen! 60' times dropped, the mph rose and ET's dropped. Consistency, the most important of all in bracket racing became attainable. |
 |
Three months later and 4 more races behind it, the Polaris now consistently runs 11.6 second ET's at 109.75 mph with 1.54 second 60' times. This is a gain of 7 mph and a drop of a 1/2 second in ET's! |
| Other changes? The oil injection rate could be cut back. No more smoke! The picture above is prior to this adjustment while the top most picture shows the results! Pleased with the performance of the 2-Stroke oil, Gary also went ahead with Amsoil's Series 2000 chaincase oil. Already using a synthetic chaincase oil, the "normal" metal fuzz build-up on the chaincases' magnetic plug was now almost totally gone. Gary estimates there is now 10 times less metal on the plug at each inspection. |
| Gary's thoughts on Amsoil Series 2000 2-Stroke and Series 2000 Chaincase oils? |
|
"I recommend these oils to anyone!"
