Case Corporation Enhances Batteries & Sales With Solargizer
Superior Products and Services to Maximize Your Productivity and Success. This is the corporate statement Case Corporation, a leading designer, manufacturer and distributor of construction and believes.

The fact that Case recently added Solargizer and other PulseTech products to its product line upholds that principle. When it comes to battery maintenance, Solargizer is truly a superior product.

"Battery reliability and performance are critical, to say the least, in the construction industry," states John Harper, senior product manager for Case Corporation. "Millions of dollars are spent every year on construction projects around the country, and thousands of dollars - or more - can be lost if a project is delayed. The last thing a construction company needs is for their batteries to go dead. This is why we manufacture a full line of exceptional equipment using the best quality batteries available.

"Unfortunately," John continues, "no matter how good the batteries are, the equipment duty cycle has a big impact on batteries. That’s why using Solargizer will ensure that peak battery performance is available every day regardless of usage. "

This is especially important when you consider the type of rigorous demand put on most of the company’s equipment. And not just in construction, but the agricultural market, too. Case is also the world's second largest manufacturer of agricultural equipment under the name of Case IH.

"Battery efficiency is just as important in the farm industry as it is in construction," states John. "After all, heavy equipment is all pretty much the same. It’ll be used hard for hours at a time, and then it could sit unused for days, sometimes even for months. This is where Solargizer is truly ideal. Keeping the batteries in peak condition helps make sure that equipment will be ready to go every time it's needed, without having to jump start. It will also help eliminate a lot of frustration for everyone who operates equipment in the field."

John explains that a lot of operators are frustrated by battery failure. They can handle mechanical failures because they can be repaired. But if a battery dies, usually all they can do is sit until a maintenance person arrives to jump start or replace it. And that downtime gets very expensive.

"There has never really been an effective preventative maintenance program for batteries," says John. "Now, with Solargizer, there finally is." Case Corporation offers almost every type of quality equipment for both industries. It sells through a network of about 4900 independent dealers and distributors in more than 150 countries.

"PulseTech products are ideal for all our dealers because of the diverse opportunities they offer," says John. "I look at it like this, Case is not the only manufacturer of equipment with a battery. Since Solargizer works on anything with a lead-acid battery, that sets us apart. After all, how many Case parts can be sold to use on a bass boat or school bus? That type of sales potential is exactly what our dealers are asking for."

In fact, it was one of the company’s dealers that helped Case finally decide to market PulseTech’s products.

Case first learned of pulse technology products a few years ago. But at the time, the company chose not to add them in their product line. Soon after, Western Power and Equipment began marketing PulseTech products. WP&E, the largest independent dealer of Case equipment in the U.S., began selling PulseTech products through its 28 locations in Washington, Alaska, Oregon, California and northern Nevada. The company quickly discovered a real need for the technology. Gary Frank, vice president of product support for Western Power, says response to Solargizer was very positive. He feels these products have had a tremendous impact on their overall sales. They passed this information on to the Case corporate offices.

"We’ve always listened to our dealers," says John Harper. "So when Western Power contacted us, we reevaluated the product line. We decided since Solargizer provides such a variety of benefits for our customers and dealers, it and the other PulseTech products are something everyone needs. "

Case has already started introducing PulseTech products to its extensive dealer network. "PulseTech’s products are tailor-made for our industries," John says. "All the benefits they offer equal one thing -more productive time for our customers.
They truly live up to another company philosophy: -A Tradition of Innovation-."
