There are two slides of the SAME oil, however they are NOT in the order you'd expect. These slides are 8 micron test patches from an AJAX integral gas compressor. The left patch is the oil about three weeks before the addition of a Spinner II centrifuge. The right patch is the result after two weeks of cleanup by the Spinner II centrifuge.
NOTE:
The left patch blocked the flow of oil after 30ml of the desired 40ml had been drawn through it. The right patch has the desired 40ml of sample, NO BLOCKING. A comparison of color intensity can be made to compare the relative cleanliness of the two oils, but remember the patch result on the right would be lighter by 25% if 30ml instead of 40ml had been drawn through it, making this comparison even more telling!
