Two remote mounted Model 200HD/LCB Spinner II centrifuges on a Waukesha 7042 engine used in natural gas compression service. In this installation the oil supply is obtained from the oil pump discharge and delivered to the centrifuges via a steel braid hydraulic hose. The 2) 4 gpm Model 200HD's then filter the oil and return it to the sump through a 2 inch (50mm) fitting. Todays engines have so much additional hardware mounted on them that engine service and inspection is slowed down as these additional pieces must be removed to gain access to the engine! The remote mounting capabilities of the Spinner II centrifuge ensure they are not in the way! |
